![]() Once you've gotten strong enough to dominate your neighbors, you'll be able to proceed south and lay siege to other races with your hordes of marauders and berserkers. So you're not at a disadvantage early on, and you can hack and slash your way to dominance of the cold lands. One mitigating factor is that all of the northern tribes you face off against in the Norsca campaign are also melee fighters. If you want to win with these northern warriors, you'll want to charge the enemy and close the distance as soon as possible. Their range is severely reduced, so they play a more supplementary roll for the Norsca and Wintertooth. This comes at a price, in that their ranged units just aren't as good as those of other races. Both sides excel in melee combat and sieges. While the Norsca and Wintertooth trolls look quite a lot different, they fight pretty similarly. Throgg's troll units get a resistance buff, and all of his troops receive immunity to negative terrain effects as well. But his unique ability, Copious Vomit, is much grosser! He can also construct a building called Troll Country. Like Wulrik, this imposing monster excels in melee combat and sieges. Or some heavy debuff traits that would be only removeable by proving yourself in another challenge.Throgg, also known as the King of Trolls, leads the Wintertooth faction. If they fail the challenge, you would get punished, gaining chaos spawns and forsaken for example (as these resemble the forms you earn if you displease the gods). If they won, they would gain powerful boons, becoming champions of - said god, gaining chaos lords (maybe the one that led the army you defeated) or maybe gaining some special units (not the already present chaos units, some completely unique units for norsca only). (For example defeat Badabom the Bloodthirster and his followers in Blood God's domain). Your Norscan lord and his army would be given a challenge to fight said army in a realm. It would be great to reintroduce realms of chaos gods into IE at the same itme I would like some form of Challenges from chaos gods. A new one wouldn´t hurt.ģ- A general rework on trade: In lore, the High Elves are there dominate the sea trade, but Norscan trade vessels are all over the world, including Marienburn, Edengrad, Miragliano and even Ind. Other than the Allegiance Lords, Norsca can only use the old reliable Marauder Chieftain. This should be rectified.ģ- The Everchosen Dilemma: that was a rather big part of a Norsca Campaign back then, and it should be in Immortal Empires, one way or another.ġ- A new Lord.
