![]() ![]() Is it worth the money for sure on it's own? I think so having used it but for those that have never used it or known someone who has they could find it steep for a 'pencil' and stick with the free Screwfix ones. This is Pica-Ink, basically a felt-tip pen. When you have used up the original, you can just remove the cap behind and slot in a new lead. The only missing part is an eraser which I have no problem carrying a. The green cap of the pencil (like Festool moving parts ) comes off to reload the leads. the base of the sheath has a sharpener for the lead, which you can sharpen to a nice point. These are the colour options for the lead. The pencil is a two part unit.the sheath clips to the inside of your pants, apron, etc. On the back of Pica-Dry is a button that you can press to extend the lead. It might seem a lot of money at first for this kind of product but as long as it comes with a few lead replacements it won't seem as bad. Pica-Dry is actually a 2mm lead holder and the cap comes with a sharpener. Makes life so much easier and the fact you can retract the lead when needed for safety as well or make it longer if needed to get into small holes, makes it perfect for every job. I rated the features at 5 out of 5 stars because of this built in sharpener as there is not much more that can beat that. Marks everything easily, gets into screw holes to mark them easy enough, can sharpen to a fine point instantly as built in, no more trying to find a knife or having a separate sharpener. Extremely long lasting and sustainable due to high quality product technique and refill abilityįeels solid in the hand and you can feel the quality - I've dropped it, stood on it and still no issues.Leads most easy to refill from the back end.High value push mechanism for automatic lead feed in a stainless steel tube.Patented: The integrated sharpener in the quiver cap – always and immediately at hand.Convenient quiver cap with special clip for perfect one handed handling. Most versatile capabilities due to special colour leads: for bright or dark surfaces, in water soluble or water resistant.Wipe clean from glossy surfaces with a damp cloth. Its FOR ALL graphite lead 2B marks on almost all surfaces, no matter if dry or wet, glossy or rough, dusty or oily. ![]()
